Since everything arrives onboard one of our small aircraft we ask that you travel light when you come visit us.  We have a detailed clothing list that is perfect for your Alaskan adventure.  Please click on our email address info@ultimathulelodge.com, write clothing list in the Subject line and we will send one to you. 

To get here, we can pick you up in Valdez, Chitina or McCarthy, AK or for additional charter cost we can pick you up and/or drop you off anywhere else you might want... Anchorage, Fairbanks or even Juneau.  Please contact us for costs and ideas.

The Weather Right Now

Chitina is a hundred miles down the river from the lodge, but it's the closest weather report we can get. The thing to keep in mind when planning your trip is that you should be ready for ever changing conditons! There is nothing "normal" about any season in Alaska.
