Planning your Trip
Alaska is our passion, we have been to all corners of the state and can give you great tips on other locations or take you there ourselves. Please let us know if we can help you out with your plans. We can take you all over the state and show you the best of Alaska after we show you the best of Ultima Thule!!! Check out our Beyond Thule pages to learn more.
Since everything arrives onboard one of our small aircraft we ask that you travel light when you come visit us. We have a detailed clothing list that you will recieve after you confirm your reservation.
To get here, we can pick you up in Valdez, Chitina or McCarthy, AK or for additional charter cost we can pick you up and/or drop you off anywhere else you might want... Anchorage, Fairbanks or even Juneau. Please contact us for costs and ideas.
if you have a question, don't hesitate to: Get in touch.
The Weather Right Now
Chitina is a hundred miles down the river from the lodge, but it's the closest weather report we can get. The thing to keep in mind when planning your trip is that you should be ready for ever changing conditons! There is nothing "normal" about any season in Alaska.
