The all time favorite trip starts right at Ultima Thule. The raft leaves
from the bank of our land.
The river winds 25 miles to airplane pick up at Jake's Bar, an abandoned
explorers cabin.
Along the way, it is easy to see dall sheep and mountain goats. Bears
and the wild buffalo
are spotted quite often. Many folks have seen the elusive wolves as they
travel. This is an all
day trip with many stops to enjoy various sights.
Other trips such as Moose Valley have completely different feels and
kinds of scenery and
wildlife. We have some very special stretches of water that we have discovered.
All are
wonderful runs.
