Flight Seeing

Airplanes are marvelous things. The sights you see from them will define a whole new life for you.

The only way to our home and lodge is by plane. We live 100 miles from the end of the road (where our post office box is). We live about 50 miles from the nearest people by plane. Our lives are ruled by the air, everything in our existence comes in by air, including all our guests.

We own several airplanes, all with unique abilities for our lives as bush Alaskans.

The Turbine Otter: carries lots of people, lands and takes off very short for all kinds of runways and loves to be on skis in the snow.

The Cessna 185: we bought it new from the factory in 1976. It is Grandpa's plane most of the time. With his 20,000 hours of Alaska Bush flying time, he loves to move around in "his" plane. It has lots of capabilities for flying you around.

Piper Super Cubs: we have a stable of them. They are the heart of the bush pilot. They fly three people including the pilot and they go to amazing places. You will get to experience these in your adventures.
